Primavera...finalmente!

In questo week-end lungo ho provato a farmi prendere un po' dalla primavera. Il tempo era bellissimo, e per fortuna l'umore un po' migliorato. Poi con l'aiuto della mia carissima Fra (grazie grazie grazie :D) ho trovato un'idea.

This long week-end I tried to let the Springtime coming in. Weather was wanderful, and thankfully my humor a little better. Then with the help of my dear Fra (tks tks tks :D) I found an idea.

Stiamo risistemando per l'ennesima volta il giardino al mio cucciolone (Ref)

Qui lo vedete all'allenamento del "cane cittadino"... ehm... sinceramente è in un attimo di pausa liberatoria, premio quando è bravo a fare i "compiti" :).

Here you can see him during his "citizen dog" lesson ... ehm... to tell the truth he's in a relaxing break, this is his award when he do his exercises :).

... e dicevo: siccome siamo stati un po' presi mi serviva qualcosa di veloce, ma volevo anche qualcosa di carino... quindi ecco che compare la mitica Fra con un pensierino di Amy Butler: incantata!!!

... I was telling: as we were a little busy, I needed something quick, but I'd like also something nice... so here we are Great Fra with a project of Amy Butler: I was charmed!!!

Questo è il risultato del mio diletto, e a dir la verità non ci ho impiegato neppure molto. Per una principiante come me è stata una conquista!!

This is the result of my work, and to tell the truth it doesn't take too much. To be a starter, it was a great goal for me!!!

L'unica cosa che mi ha mandato un po' in crisi all'inizio è stata la scelta della stoffa. Poi una sera prima di addormentarmi mi è venuta l'illuminazione. Volevo un colore allegro (per un tulipano!!) ma non troppo sporchevole: le stoffine americane da http://www.fabricshack.com/ (se Chiara - http://www.chiaracountry.blogspot.com/ non l'avesse mai nominato non so come avrei fatto!!). Quelle che ho atteso come se fosse S. Lucia!!!

I've just some problems to choose the fabrics. Then one night before sleeping I've got The Idea. I'd like a happy colour (for a tulip!!) but that not become easily dirty: american fabrics from http://www.fabricshack.com/ (tks Chiara - http://www.chiaracountry.blogspot.com/ - how could I do without??). These fabrics I've waited as St. Lucia!!!

Mi sono detta che comprare delle stoffe che ti piacciono e poi tenerle in conserva non serve a molto. Quindi anche se le usi e poi finiscono basta che le usi bene e se proprio ne compri delle altre (sono una che x natura tende a CONSERVARE anche gli spilli, quindi basta solo immaginare il caos del mio "mondo"!!)

I've thought that to buy fabrics I like and keep them stored is unuseful. So if I use them and then they finish, it's enough I use them in the right way, and if I need, I can buy it more (I have the habit to STORE everything, so it's easy to think to the mass there is in my "world"!!).

Se per caso ti stessi chidedendo che cosa fosse quel tulipano... (visto che Francy A. e Lory sono rimaste un po' sconvolte dalla mia eccitazione quando ho mostrato loro l'opera, non capendo cosa fosse!!! :P ) ecco qui la spiegazione: una tovaglietta per colazione o pranzo, o quel che si vuole. Sinceramente sto tentando di creare sei tovagliette tutte diverse per il tavolo da giardino, ma..... mettiamola così: ho iniziato. Con una, ma ho iniziato. Ma soprattutto la cosa x me + importante: ho iniziato una cosa e l'ho finita. L'HO FINITA!!!

If you're wondering what's that tulip... (some friends of mine - Francy A. and Lory - were upset from my exciting way to show them my work, becouse they didn't understand what is that!!! :P) here we are the explanation: a placemat to breakfast or lunch, o what you want. To tell the truth I'm trying to create six different placemats for the table we have in the garden, but... let's say I've started. With just one of them, but I've started. And the most important thing for me: I've started one thing and I finished it!!! I FINISHED IT!!!
